I have recently upgraded from 2008 to 2010. Since the upgrade the deployment will not join the domain and any computername I add at the start of the deployment are ignored. Has something changed.

Thank you

Paul

Just in case anybody else at this forum has the same problem. One of the mayor changes in MDT 2010 affecting your deployments is, that it now uses the Property OSDComputerName  instead of ComputerName. ComputerName has been deprecated. So if you want to make sure a computer gets the name you would like it to have, be sure to set the property OSDComputerName.

See http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/mdt/thread/7001a9ed-861d-41fa-8035-235f2c372732 for the original answer
